” Have courage an go after your dreams. Do not go after your dreams foolishly but write down a plan. See if it will work by testing and research then GO AFTER IT WITH COURAGE.” ~ Jodi Diamond
The one word inspiration of the day is courage.
Going through life without fear is a necessity for success, otherwise life will take advantage of your weaknesses. Courage goes beyond anything physical. To have courage is to conquer the mind. We can easily defeat some physical milestones with our physical strength. However you can conquer any milestone physical or mental with the mind. Everything in your body is controlled by the mind. Find a way to conquer the mind. I began the journey and the never ending battle to conquer the human mind and I saw my life begin to flourish by reading the Bible.
In times of weakness and doubt know that you would not have the battles you have if you were not able to conquer them! Your soul was assigned to your specific body during this specific period of time in the exact situation or struggle you are facing for reasons beyond your understanding. You would not be in the position you are in today if you didn’t have the strength to handle it. There are only two choices in life and that’s 1. To be defeated by your fears and circumstances or 2. To be courageous and conquer your circumstances. Choose to be courageous!!!
Inspiration : “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
Other Inspiration: The word COURAGE has two definitions. The first definition being “the ability to do something that frightens one”. The other definition says “strength in the face of pain or grief”.

Mini Inspiration Blog – The Silence of Success
On the JodiDiamond.com YouTube Channel (Coming Soon) I talked about starting each morning with a 5 minute prayer, why you should do it, and how it benefits your life. I also discussed how this small change benefited my life in a blog called “How I Changed My Life With A 5 Minute Prayer.”
Now lets make this simple and not over complicate things. I am by no means a prayer expert but I can tell you how to pray to change your life with a simple morning prayer. Any prayer is powerful and every prayer is meant to be unique. ❌🔮 It’s not a spell, a chant, or something where you have to say the same thing over an over. Your prayer does not have to be long to have meaning, it just has to be from the heart. A prayer is a opportunity to speak with the creator of the universe.🌌
Matthew 6:7 “ And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their man words.”
The morning prayer is divided into three sections. First begin by thanking God for the things that you do have. Why? Because starting out your prayer by being grateful for your blessings whether big or small helps humble you before beginning the rest of your prayer. Opening your prayers with gratefulness puts you in a great mood at the start of the day because you are reminding yourself of the things you can be happy about. Most importantly it is what God asks us to do. Not only does God ask us in the bible to be grateful and give thanks but there is over 90 verses about it, two of which I have listed below.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Psalm 118:24 “This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
The Second thing is to pray for others. This one is simple, “…Love your neighbor as yourself”(Matthew 22:39). Which means love everyone as much as you love yourself. You can read Matthew 22: 36-40 to learn the two greatest commandments of all. Those Matthew 22 verses are the main reason I chose to include others in my prayers second.
Third, pray for yourself. Pray for your personal goals and the things you want to achieve in your life. Also don’t forget to pray about the things you may struggle with and want to improve on. Trust me its not hard to pray for yourself and what you want. Since you began the prayer with giving God thanks and considering others you have can ask for your blessings guilt free. God wants you to pray for the things you want.
Psalm 37:4 “Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
Lastly, you have to BELIEVE. Believe and have faith that God will answers your prayers. Goals whether they be physical, financial, or spiritual only get accomplished if you believe it can be done.
Mark 11:24 “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Matthew 21:22 “And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
SOMETIMES YOU CAN MAKE BIG LIFE CHANGES WITH LITTLE EFFORT. THIS IS HOW I CHANGED MY LIFE WITH A 5 MINUTE MORNING PRAYER.
I’ve heard the same thing over and over, blog after blog, statistic after statistic, even video after video. I kept hearing that all millionaires and successful people have a morning routine. They begin their day with healthy habits.
🙄 Yeah, that sounded great and all but it just was not something I thought I could keep up with. And guess what y’all ….I was right. I (like most people) have a very hectic schedule and having a morning routine seemed impossible. I just did whatever worked best that morning. I have 3 different self-employment incomes, so my mornings depended on which one I was going to work on that day. In general I just left the idea of having a morning routine on the back burner.
Time passed and life went on. Until I was watching a YouTube video by Adrienne (Bailon) Houghton where she said she began every morning with just 15 minutes. 5 minutes to pray, 5 minutes to write, and 5 minutes to read the word. She talked about how it helped her accomplish her personal goals. I thought “well that kind of (kindddoofff🙄) sounds simple”. But it still was not simple enough that I thought I personally would or could keep up with it long term.
Like am I really going to be getting out my little handy dandy notebook every morning to write when I first wake up?
Fast forward a few weeks later I hear khloe Kardashian on TV telling her sister starting your day with a prayer of graditude will change your entire day.
So I decided praying was something so simple. I wasn’t going to start a full blown morning routine that I wouldn’t stick to but instead just spend 5 minutes of my morning praying.
Once I began praying in the morning my life changed. I began by saying I’ll pray for 3 things every morning. First I start the prayer off thanking God for what I do have. The second thing is I begin praying for others. Thirdly I pray for myself and the things I want for my life.
I’m not one to rush results, I know things take time but I saw a huge difference in my life the second day I prayed!!! I was going through things personally, emotionally, and it was enough to weigh down on my mood daily. Praying helped me get off to a good start. I felt like I had already made a positive impact on my day. I felt in control and spiritually relaxed.
Matter of fact I am writing this blog after one of my morning prayers!!! I see the things I am praying for coming into my life. Something so simple has not just made dramatic change in my mornings but the entire day that follows. I now get more things done on my to-do list. I feel more confident praying to God throughout the day because if I started the day praying, why not continue when something comes up? There are too many other life improvements to write that happened by making this small and easy change.
I have tried so many things and the solution was so simple and ….it’s God.
If you would like improve your life like I did with a simple morning prayer and may not know how or the reasoning behind it read this quick Blog called “HOW TO START EACH MORNING WITH A 5 MINUTE PRAYER”
I also have a video (Coming Soon) called “how to improve your entire life with a 5 minute morning prayer”. This video I discuss how you can change YOUR LIFE with a morning prayer.

The decision has been made! JodiDiamond.com will be narrowing down its content to focus on the most important thing in life, money! Obviously I’m joking or maybe I’m not. No, seriously money is not the most important thing in life but it is extremely important.
Now that we have established money is not the most important thing in life, we can acknowledge that money is tool that is used to provide the basics for survival. You need cash to keep a roof over your head, make sure your family is fed, even to heat your home during those cold winter months. Once you learn to manage money it can aid in improving your life such as having the ability to invest, live in a safer area, have a better paying job so you can afford to have more time off to spend with your family.
This website is a built to help others. The JodiDiamond.com slogan is literally “A personal website built to help others”. I want to help people learn all the things I’ve learned in life but most importantly I want to be apart of the rise to success of many. Today’s one word inspiration is SILENCE.
I was told by many successful people that it’s best not to announce anything you have going on until it is all done. I thought about and said, “I understand why you should keep your struggles to yourself until you are ready to share but why should I hide my blessings”? She replied, “You don’t know everyones true intentions. They may be secretly jealous and try sabotaging your blessing or they may open their mouth too soon and ruin your opportunity”. With that in mind I also realized new life ventures take a lot of courage and someone else’s doubtful words about your plans may be the discouragement that knocks you down.
“Silence is golden” is the cliche phrase. Silence is also helpful in a lot of situations. It is important to keep your struggles and blessings quiet until the right timing.
Keeping things to yourself makes the experience sacred. It is special to you and you get to analyze things from your perspective. If you choose to change your mind about anything or something comes up you can readjust your plans without disappointing others.
There is a time to speak up but there is a time to keep your plans and projects silent until all the details are worked out.
INSPIRATION: Ecclesiastes 3:7 “a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,”
